Tenerife boat trips to other islands
Tenerife is one of the most visited islands in the Canary Islands formed by 7 other islands (El Hierro, La Palma, La Gomera, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote and La Graciosa). Thanks to its spectacular beaches or natural landscapes such as Masca and the incredible Teide National Park , being the highest peak in Spain, it is a destination with a great attraction.
But if in addition to knowing its corners, we want to explore other islands, it is certainly a good opportunity due to its geographical location.
You can find several day trips from Tenerife to other islands with daily departures from Puerto de los Cristianos and mainly to the islands of El Hierro and La Gomera . With ferry trips of between 1 hours and 2 hours in the case of El Hierro, we will be able to enjoy full day excursions to know the main places of these islands.
La Gomera, in which we find the Garajonay National Park, we will find some laurisilvas forests which have a very high ecological value, since it is probably one of the most important in Europe. Its small municipalities are a great example of how local culture and gastronomy has been preserved for so long.
El Hierro, is one of the other smaller islands but with great environmental importance, because thanks to the fact that it has not been exploited tourism, it houses important natural areas and spectacular seabed.
We can also make day trips from Tenerife to other islands with more distance such as La Palma or Lanzarote taking advantage of their regular and daily flights, in which we will spend a full day and return at the end of the day.
