1st Day (Mar.) MADRID – SALAMANCA – OPORTO
Departure to Salamanca. Free time in this World Heritage university city of great architectural and artistic wealth and departure towards the Portuguese border until reaching Porto. Accommodation.
2nd Day (Wed.) PORTO
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a panoramic tour of this city declared a World Heritage Site where we will see the Cathedral, the Stock Exchange building, and the Church of Santa Clara, ending with a cruise along the Duero River. In addition, we will visit some famous wineries with a tasting of their world-famous “Port wine”. Accommodation.
3rd Day (Thursday) PORTO – COIMBRA – FATIMA
Breakfast. Departure to Coimbra, home city of one of the oldest universities in Europe and birthplace of Fado. Leisure. Continuation to Fatima. Center of the Christian Faith and World Pilgrimage Sanctuary with its impressive Basilica and the Cova da Iria, where the Virgin Mary appeared. The Chapel of the Apparitions, the heart of the sanctuary, with the tombs of the three shepherd children, Lucía, Francisco and Jacinta. At night there is the possibility of attending the candle procession. Accommodation.
4th Day (Fri.) FATIMA – BATALHA – NAZARE – ALCOBAÇA – LISBON
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to the Batalha Monastery, a work of art of the Gothic and Manueline styles considered a World Heritage Site. Continuation to Nazaré, the most picturesque and colorful fishing village in Portugal. If time allows, we will reach the Site to enjoy a panoramic view of the town and its beaches. We will continue the trip to Alcobaça. Visit to its 12th century church with the tombs of Don Pedro and Inés de Castro. Continuation to Lisbon. Accommodation. At night, optionally, we recommend attending a Fado show (typical Portuguese folklore).
5th Day (Sat.) LISBON
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning visit of the city, formerly known as Olissipo, tour through its main squares and avenues, Belem Tower, Jerónimos Monastery (exterior), Monument to the Discoverers and much more. Free afternoon to discover the nostalgic corners of this city such as the Alfama neighborhood or take the optional excursion to Sintra and Cascais (World Heritage Site). Accommodation at the hotel.
6th Day (Sun.) LISBON – CACERES – CORDOBA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure at 07:30 hrs. to Cáceres, a World Heritage city, architectural mix of Romanesque, Islamic, Gothic and Italian Renaissance. We will walk through its old town, Medieval Quarter and its Plaza Mayor. Continuation south towards Córdoba, in the past capital of the Caliphate. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
7th Day (Mon.) CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the impressive Mosque/Cathedral that will relax our mind and spirit to walk through the narrow streets of the Jewish Quarter. Then, after a short journey of about two hours, arrival in Seville. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
8th Day (Mar.) SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, monumental and panoramic visit of the city, including the interior of the Cathedral, the second largest in the Catholic world after Saint Peter's in Rome. Typical neighborhood of Santa Cruz, natural setting for “Carmen” as well as the place where the myth of “Don Juan” developed. María Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Free afternoon to discover different perspectives and specific flavors of this active city full of light. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Optional visit to a Flamenco show.
9th Day (Wed.) SEVILLE – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast at the hotel, departure south along the Pueblos Blancos route towards Ronda; free time to admire this city of Celtic origin with wonderful views of the valley and the mountains. In the afternoon, continue to one of the most modern and important areas of international tourist interest, the Costa del Sol. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
10th Day (Thu.) COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast, dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Day at your disposal to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol and nearby areas or optionally take one of our excursions.
11th Day (Fri.) COSTA DEL SOL – TARIFA/ALGECIRAS – TANGIER - FEZ
After breakfast at the hotel, departure along the tourist route of the Costa del Sol, via internationally known towns such as Marbella and Puerto Banús, arrival in Tarifa or Algeciras. Board the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar to Africa. Arrival in Tangier, disembarkation, customs formalities and continuation by coach to Meknes. Brief stop and continuation to Fez. Leisure. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
12th Day (Sat.) FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the oldest and most monumental of the Imperial Cities, visiting the most interesting places: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter or Mellah, the Bab Bou Jeloud gate and a walk through its magnificent Medina or ancient city, declared a World Heritage Site. 13th Day (Sun.) FEZ – RABAT – CASABLANCA – MARRAKECH
Breakfast and early departure towards Rabat, the capital of the country. Visit the most emblematic places of this city such as the exteriors of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohamed V and the Hassan Tower. Continue to Casablanca to visit the most interesting places, such as the United Nations Square, the Boulevard de la Corniche and the exteriors of the Hassan II mosque. Once the visit is over, free lunch en route and continuation to Marrakech. Optionally, typical Fantasía Chez Ali dinner under Kaidal tents. Accommodation.
14th Day (Mon.) MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit of the city called “Pearl of the South”, which begins in the grandiose Menara Gardens, which have a side pavilion and countless olive trees. Afterwards, an exterior visit to the Koutoubia minaret, twin sister of the Giralda in Seville. Once inside the old part of the city, we visit the Bahia Palace, property of a nobleman of the city. Finally arrival at the Jemaa el Fna square, one of the most interesting places in Morocco, from where you can access the souks and the medina. Guilds of wood, ceramic, leather and spice artisans will be some of the places that will be visited. After the visit, lunch at a hotel in Marrakech and subsequent departure to Casablanca. Arrival, dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
15th Day (Mar.) CASABLANCA – TANGIER – TARIFA/ALGECIRAS – COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast at the hotel, departure to Tangier. Transfer to the port to board the ferry, through the Strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Continuation to the Costa del Sol. Accommodation at the hotel.
16th Day (Wed.) COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast, dinner and accommodation at the hotel. Day at your disposal to enjoy the beautiful beaches of the Costa del Sol and nearby areas or optionally take one of our excursions.
17th Day (Thurs.) COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Granada and its incredible and astonishing monumental surroundings, the last bastion of the Nasrid Kingdom of Granada until 1492. Visit of the world-famous Alhambray complex, the Generalife Gardens, fountains, gardens, patios that with their views and sounds have inspired authors such as W. Irving in his “Tales of the Alhambra”. Rest of the afternoon free. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. At night, optionally, Zambra Flamenca show in the Sacromonte neighborhood.
18th Day (Fri.) GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure heading north where the impressive Imperial city of Toledo rises, under the Castilian sky and surrounded by the Tagus River – a World Heritage Site and cradle of civilizations – where the three cultures, Christians, Muslims and Jews, coexisted. Extract of the art, history and spirituality of the country, the entire city is a National Monument. Brief guided tour of this historic city, walking through its old town through its narrow streets.
