- 1st Day (Tuesday) MADRID-LEON-OVIEDO
We will depart from Madrid to Leon. There we will have free time to visit some of the most emblematic buildings such as the Gothic Cathedral, with the most beautiful stained glass windows in Europe and the Collegiate Church of San Isidoro.
In the afternoon, we will continue our way to Oviedo, one of the most important tourist cities in Spain. We'll have dinner and stay at the hotel.
- 2nd Day (Wednesday) OVIEDO-LA CORUÑA
After breakfast we will leave Oviedo to the region of Galicia. The first stop will be in La Coruña. Here we will make a short panoramic tour of the city, touring its most prominent places, such as the Paseo de la Marina and the Plaza de María Pita .
The afternoon will be free so that everyone can go out to explore La Coruña on their own or make an excursion to the Rías Altas (optional). Dinner and overnight.
- 3rd Day (Thursday) LA CORUÑA — SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Breakfast at the hotel. Our journey will continue in Santiago de Compostela, one of the busiest Christian pilgrimage centers in the world. We will stroll through the streets of its Old Town in the company of the guide, and we will be surprised to see beautiful historical monuments. We will visit the Plaza del Obradoiro and explore the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela, which houses the famous Sepulchre of the Apostle Santiago .
The rest of the day will be free to explore the city at your own convenience. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
- 4th Day (Friday) SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA — RIAS BAJAS — LA TOJA — VIGO - PORTO
During the 4th day of our tour, we will leave for the Rías Bajas, an area of the coast of Galicia. On the way we will cross amazing landscapes until we reach the island of Toja, famous for its balearium and its great natural wealth.
Then, we will go to O Grove, where we can optionally enjoy a boat tour to learn about the cultivation of oysters and mussels, as well as taste the ribeiro wine with mussels.
Next we will continue towards Vigo , one of the most beautiful cities in the region, where we will have free time. You will have the possibility of making an optional visit to Santa Tecla.
Crossing the border between Spain and Portugal, we will see the beautiful lands of Minho until we stop in Porto. We will arrive at the hotel to relax and overnight.
In the morning we will visit Porto, a city declared a World Heritage Site. In Porto we will enjoy a panoramic tour, visiting essential places such as the cathedral and the church of Santa Clara. We will end by visiting a local winery where we will taste the famous Porto wine. You will have free time to take an optional cruise along the Duero River. Accommodation in the hotel.
- 6th Day (Sunday) PORTO — SALAMANCA — MADRID
After enjoying breakfast, we will return to Spain bound for Salamanca, another important city that treasures numerous historical monuments, among which stands out the University of Salamanca, the oldest of the which is still open.
After a tour of the Old City of Salamanca freely, declared a World Heritage Site, we will continue the way back to Madrid, where our Galicia and Northern Portugal Tour will end.
