On this 5 day Spain tour from Barcelona you can get to know some of the most important capitals of the country, such as Zaragoza, Cordoba, Seville, Granada and Toledo. A mixture of the different cultures that have lived together make them unique.
- 1st Day (Sun.) BARCELONA — MADRID
We will depart from the city of Barcelona to take our first stop in Zaragoza, with a great river known for being the most abundant in the Peninsula. You will enjoy free time to discover its impressive Basilica.
We will continue to Madrid, where we will go directly to the planned hotel.
- 2nd Day (Mon.) MADRID — CORDOBA — SEVILLE
At 8:30, after breakfast, we will depart to Cordoba, passing through “La Mancha”, the land of the adventures of “Don Quixote”.
We will visit the unique monument of the city of Cordoba, the Mosque-Cathedral and tour the streets of the famous Jewish Quarter. Its historic centre was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
In the afternoon, we will arrive in Seville. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast at the hotel. We will start with a panoramic view of this spectacular city, and we will also walk through the streets of its most emblematic neighborhood, Barrio de Santa Cruz where is the famous Cathedral-Giralda and its magnificent Alcazar, very common scenarios in movies and series.
Getting to know Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España is also a fundamental part of our visit.
The afternoon will be free to get lost in its corners and discover gastronomy and culture.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel. If you wish you can enter a flamenco show, something unique in the region of Andalusia.
- 4th Day (Wed.) SEVILLA — GRANADA
Breakfast at the hotel, to head to the heart of the Caliphate, passing first through the beautiful landscapes offered by Andalusia characteristic for its olive fields. Once in Granada, we will be able to delight with all its most important monumental ensemble, the Alhambra of Granada and the Generalife Gardens.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel. If you do not want to miss the night of Granada on an optional basis, you can see a flamenco show in the Sacromonte Quarter, renowned for its cave houses.
- 5th Day (Thu.) GRANADA — TOLEDO — MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. We will leave to Madrid, but before we will take an essential visit on this Spain tour from Barcelona in Toledo. After lunch (included), a guided tour of its historic centre and medieval streets will take place. Then we will visit a factory to witness the Damascene, a traditional technique of precious metals in steel.
